Welcome to the Online Grantee Input Sessions!
The Corporation for National and Community Service is in the process of completing the 2011-2015 Strategic Plan for final consideration by the Board in February 2011. This plan will define our mission, goals and the means by which we will measure progress for the next five years. It will also inform our funding opportunities, program guidance and other resource decisions.
On November 17, 2010, we released the Strategy Brief:
Proposed Five-Year Goals and Strategies
This document provides a summary of the potential strategic goals and objectives for the Corporation for 2011-2015 and is intended to inform stakeholders and the public about the prospective building blocks for developing the full plan. The content of this document is based on in-person and online conversations with stakeholders and subject matter experts beginning in the summer of 2010, and on analysis of the external environment and internal CNCS operations.
The Corporation for National and Community Service thanks everyone who contributed the invaluable input that led to the development of this Brief. The public outreach process and your comments through September 30, 2010, have been compiled in a report that can be found at

Through December 2010, the Corporation is soliciting grantee input on this Strategy Brief through online conversations and through email at
strategy@cns.gov
Specifically, we are looking to garner input on the grantee and sponsor performance measures that may be used to guide our assessment of progress and success in implementing our strategic plan. We would like to learn about your experience with performance measurements in order to learn from the collective expertise of the field.

As with the online dialogues last summer, the webinar format will include specific questions about which participants may enter comments and may see the comments of others. Comments may also be entered at this site independently of the webinars.
As the development of the final plan is ongoing, comments submitted by December 24 will be most likely to be considered and reported in summary form. CNCS’ board is scheduled to vote on the strategic plan in February 2011. You may ENTER COMMENTS at any time through December 24 on this site or by emailing to
